If there was stars in the negative, this place would be at a -3! After listening to my friends experience at this place with her mother, I am dumbfounded by what she and her mother went through. First of all, her mother is dead because she ended up with sepsis after a gallbladder operation. The doctors were way more than rude to all the family members. Insufficient nurses available in ICU. They discharged her before she should have been discharged to a rehab nursing home. The worst part of it all was they transported her naked to this place! This I feel is really uncalled for and very wrong. While in the nursing home she became non responsive and when they sent her back to Whittier Hospital, they REFUSED treating her. She ended up going to Whittier Presbyterian Hospital where they worked on her all night long to stabilize her. When she got there she had low blood pressure, infection at surgery site, and pneumonia. This place needs to be put out of business as far as I am concerned. If you need a hospital and don't want to die, go somewhere else and avoid this place at all costs! There is nothing positive to say about this place. Sorry.
