I had been a Paycare customer for many years and yes like many other payroll companies they made a mistake or two on our payroll but were always quick and polite in fixing the issue and ensuring it would not repeat. I was walked through the transition to Paychex and have since had nothing but problems with them. They have made more mistakes on my billing than I can count. I too received notices from the IRS but I sent them a copy of my reports they claimed were not filed and the issue was resolved. When I Spoke to the IRS they stated that the letters I received were automated and it was standard procedure for them to be sent when they can find the electronic copy of filed reports. I have worked with the processors at Paycare day in and day out and if you feel that strongly to wish them a place in hell you should redirect your anger towards the owners who controlled the company as for the staff they worked hard to do their job and were laid off with little notice. In this economy where there is an overwhelming amount of unemployed I hope they are able to fins a way to provide for their families. I'm not saying there is no reason to be angry but make sure you know the facts before you condemn innocents.
