Pacific City Properties is HORRID. My bank stopped check in ERROR. I got a call from the property management company advising me of the fact and telling me I needed to bring a cashiers check for the rent plus the fees for NSF.The bank told me that they would be happy to pay ALL the fees that the property management charged me since it was bank error, but I needed an actual receipt (the property management gave me a little receipt tape that didn't specify what the charges were for and the bank couldn't accept that) I called the Pacific City again asking if they could provide me with one and they told me to come the next day after 11. I came in the next day and they didn't have it ready and I was talked down to and hollered at and talked about in the third person. I had never been treated so rudely by someone before when it wasn't even my fault that the check had been stopped. They got my address wrong, she accused that I wasn't even on the lease (because she STILL was thinking about the person who lived at another address-she pulled the wrong file for a different address originally), i pointed out that I was. I did make it known that I didn't need to be talked about in the third person and I advised that the paperwork they were insisting I give the bank was not acceptable(per what the bank told me AND I HAD ALREADY TOLD THEM THIS ON THE PHONE) and the gray haired woman advised me that I would have to come back tomorrow in the SNOTTIEST way she could possibly do so. I take it back, if she spat on me, that would have made it worse. While she went back into her cave of on office, I started to break down while the receptionist apologized. I told her that I have always paid my rent and I couldn't understand why I was being treated this way, and I proceed to ask if they had any customer facing experience at all and then I said that I was sorry to have put them out and I was going to come back tomorrow. As I started to cry and walk out the door I said "f'ing a'holes" to be honest didn't even think I said it that loud but apparently I did. I went to my bank and pleaded for them to call the property management for me and explain for the 4TH TIME (i already explained it three times, once in person and twice on the phone) and the bank did and the property management STILL ASKED if I could just use the rental agreement. The bank advised them no so they said they would have it ready for me the next day. I called the next day to make sure that it was FOR SURE going to be ready, they said yes. They lured me in for yet another day of harassment. The owner, a bald heavy set man demanded that I apologize to his staff before I was to receive what I wanted. I told him "no sir, I will not" and he said for me to get out, I was banned from the premises because I called them f'ing a'holes and he asked me "do you think you are a pretty princess". I attempted to tell him my side but he wouldn't listen, he shouted for me to get out several times, he told the receptionist to call the cops and he ripped my receipt up. Once again, I left in tears. My roommate attempted to call and they asked him if he was my husband and he said no and asked why they wouldn't give me the receipt to which they responded "it is none of your concern" and they told him he could not pick up the receipt himself. I URGE people not to rent from these people. They obviously do not give a crap about people, they just want to collect rent and have us bow down. The only thing that I will apologize for is that I shouldn't have cussed but I think that all of us have blurted a foul word once or twice when completely out of our mind with anger. Do not use this property management company. You may be lucky if you never have an issue but do you really want to gamble with that?
