A costly nightmare
|
if I COULD GIVE A 0, I WOULD. IF YOU EVER GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD YOU WILL NEVER GET THEM OFF YOUR BACK, EVEN IF THEY HAVE TO CHAGE THE EXPIRED CARD'S INFORMATION, THEY WILL CONTINUE TO BILL YOU. THEY ARE LIKE A VINARIAL INFECTION (WHICH I'VE NEVER HAD) YOU JUST CAN'T GET RID OF THEM. CHANGING YOUR CREDIT CARD EXPIRATION DATE WITHOUT YOUR AUTHORATION IS A CRIME, YET THEY THINK THEY ARE ABOVE THE LAW (FRAUD).
THEY ARE LISTED AS THE REGISTERED AGENT FOR AN LLC IN TEXAS, BUT I NEVER USED IT. THAT WAS YEARS AGO AND I COMPLETED THE PAPER WORK TO CANCEL THE LLC AND SUBMITTED TO THE STATE WITH THE FILING FEE. THE STATE RETURNED THE FEE, WITH THE FORM AND A LETTER STATING THE LLC WAS NO LONGER ACTIVE. I NOTIFIED LEGALZOO, BUT WAS TOLD THEY WOULD CONTINUE TO CHARGE ME.

Hi Bill, we hate to hear you are being charged for registered agent services after the state has dissolved your business or officially listed it as inactive. Unfortunately, the state does not automatically notify us of any entity status changes. We're happy to review things in detail and help resolve this right away. Please feel free to contact a manager directly via help@legalzoom.com.
