Much of Harbor Freight's merchandise is of relatively poor quality. Some of their tools are serviceable if they're not used heavily. Harbor Freight's shipping department doesn't do much to ensure that merchandise arrives at the customer's location in good condition. There is frequently inadequate cusioning material, and heavy items are placed loosely in boxes along with fragile items. As a result, fragile items are frequently damaged or destroyed. Harbor Freight will usually ship a replacement for a damaged item, but they do not expedite such shipments, and it can take weeks to receive a replacement for an item that was damaged as a result of inadequate packaging.
Overall, this company does a poor job in terms of customer satisfaction, and customer service is far from adequate.
