I brought my car to this company because my car wheel was shaking. They had me do a front wheel alignment for $50 and then balanced my tires for $20. This did not fix the problem. I took the car back to them and they tried to charge me for a wheel hub, strut mount, and strut of performance. I have a estimate that comes to $891.98. This concerned me so I told them not to do the work and went to a second repair shop for a second opinion. This shop quickly found that the reason for the shaking was a flat spot on my tire. $50 later I had a new tire and the problem was fixed! The other shop did refund my $20 for the balance after I proved that I was a previous customer, however they would not return the $50 and tried to get another $900 from me! Upon further investigation I found out that this company is not actually Valley Tire & Auto, but a company called Earl's Automotive - I finally discovered this after not being told they were not able to find my old invoice, saying that they had "computer problems" A neighboring shop told me that the owner stopped running it because he was sick and this guy was using it as a DBA.
