I called DAS to get an appraisal for shipping a car. They gave me a quote over the phone along with the details. They told me the car would be picked up in 1-7 days and delivered 3-10 days after it was picked up. I paid by credit card over the phone and never received any paperwork. It took them 20 days to pick it up. After the deadline passed I called several times. The service people would continually tell me it will be picked up later today or tomorrow. They kept telling me what I wanted to hear. One named Doris even went as far as to lie to me. She claimed the seller would not let the car be picked up. In fact the money for the car was in escrow, he did not have it and he was moving and needed the car out of his way. He wanted it picked up ASAP.... The car did arrive safely for which is the important part. I would not use their service again. It was the cheapest for a reason!!!! 12/2009
