I purchased my car in May of 2008, financed by CreditWest. I have never missed a payment or made a payment late. I received a letter from County Financial the end of December 2010 stating they had purchased my loan. First off,they had the wrong car listed on my account. February 2011, I discover that County Financial Services has reported me to the credit reporting companies as "current, was 120+ days late". I called and asked them to please correct it. I was advised that they reported me as current, pays as agreed but the reporting agency "did it wrong". I asked that they correct it and they refused stating its not their responsibility. So my credit score just took a big nose dive and they aren't accepting any responsibility for it let alone helping me to correct it. Thank goodness only a couple of payments left!
