Review 12/14/2007
|
I don't like them. They are rude, uncooperative, make very wrong assumptions, and like to threaten elderly people. Being nasty, rude, and threatening people who are trying to work out their debt in a fair manner is wrong. This may not be company policy but a few of their employees have done exactly that. With the exception of one person I talked to. That person was decent and willing to help me work it out.
None of the payments I made have been credited to my account either. Each month my balance is different than the last. My balance has floated to below and above what is actually owed, with no deduction for the monthly payments that I have made. ON TIME!
I have been treated like I am ripping the employees off too. I have been treated like I am nothing more than vermin. They act like I defaulted on my debt just because I could, not due to serious health problems and financial hardship.
There is no settling with them either. I have been yelled at, swore at, belittled, threatened, and several times they have tried to humiliate and shame me for wanting to settle with them for less. I just wanted to pay it off.
Do what I did, record their conversations with you. Don't forget your rights. Learn them, protect yourself. This review is the truth from the very beginning of my experience with them. It is not made up in any form.
I have never talked to such rude, nasty, judgemental people. It is their job to collect money, not play judge and jury. Bad things happen to good people.
