I recently had a problem with my A/C unit. Spring Heating & A/C Service sent a repairman out. He concluded that the definite purpose contactor needed to be replaced. When I inquired how much that would cost he called his company and replied $375. I commented that it seemed like an expensive part. He did the job in less than an hour. I kept the box for the part. It turns out the part costs $22. If my math is correct then I was charged $353 for less than one hour of labor. I called and was told that the hourly labor rate is $125 but I was also paying for the 60 day warranty. Just to be clear; the repairman was polite and efficient, however I feel that I was overcharged by the company.
